ADAI PREPARATION

Adai is my favorite dish and my mom's preparation was so tasty. So, i wish to post this adai recipe.

Ingredients Needed:

To Grind:

Raw Rice(Pacharisi)   :1 cup
Idli Rice                       :1 cup
Fennel Seeds               :1 tsp
Channa Dal                 :1/4 cup +2 tbsp
Urad Dal                      :2 tbsp
Toor Dal                      :1/4 cup + 2 tbsp
Moong Dal                  :1/4 cup
Dry Red Chillies          :2 nos

Additional Ingredients:

Small Onions                                   : 10 nos
Coriander leaves  ,                        
Curry Leaves, Drumstick leaves   : few

How to make:

Soak all the ingredients from "To Grind" table for atleast 4 hours. Then grind them in a mixer or grinder. Cut and Peel Small onions and saute with drumstick leaves for few minutes. Add it to the batter. Then add coriander leaves, curry leaves.  Consistency of the batter is not too watery or too thick. Heat the pan and spread some oil. Pour the mixture with flat surface spatula, so that we can easily spread. Then pour some oil on the top of dosa. It takes about 3-4 mins to cook.  Then turn other side. . Serve hot with Coconut Chutney or sugar.
